This C trumpet creates a warm rich tone with outstanding projection. The new leadpipe and bell combination on the HD valve casing gives a player the balance needed in a large ensemble setting while providing the ability to play the most delicate solo and chamber literature.   Trumpeter Jack Sutte joined The Cleveland Orchestra as second trumpet in 1999. Prior to his Cleveland appointment, he was the principal trumpet in the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra in Norway. He made his international solo debut in Argentina in 1995 and has performed as a soloist with The Cleveland Orchestra, Symphony in C, New World Symphony, Contemporary Youth Orchestra and CityMusic Cleveland, among others. Two highlights include world premiere performances of Clint Needham’s trumpet concerto “”Fractured Elements”” and Matthias Pintscher’s “”Chute d’etoiles”” for orchestra and two solo trumpets. A native of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, he attended the Curtis Institute of Music and then The Juilliard School for his masters degree. Mr. Sutte’s teachers include Patricia Backhaus, Frank Kaderabek, Raymond Mase and Chris Gekker.
