Description Swedish Dish Cloths Go plastic free in the kitchen with our sustainable Swedish dish cloths. These compostable dishcloths are a brilliant alternative to plastic-based cleaning products. Made from a blend of cellulose sponge (sustainably sourced wood pulp) and waste cotton fibres that are too short for use in the textile industry. Naturally biodegradable and highly absorbent, they hold up to 20 times their weight in water – a reusable alternative to paper towels and conventional sponges. We based these designs on marine animals most threatened by plastic pollution. Caring for your cellulose sponge Rinse after each use. When needed, clean in the top rack of your dishwasher or in a 30–60°C washing machine cycle. Air dry to maintain shape (avoid tumble drying).
